These are the plain-language terms for using the site and tools. I'm not a lawyer, so treat this as a friendly starting point rather than formal legal text.

1. Using the site

By using this site and its free tools, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

2. Fair use of the tools

Please use the tools, like the accessibility scanner, for lawful purposes only. Don't scan sites you don't have permission to scan, and don't try to overload the site with automated requests.

3. Paid work

If we agree on paid work (like building a website), we'll set out the scope and price separately. That agreement takes priority over this page for that project.

4. What's mine

The VV Labs name, logo, and site content are mine unless noted otherwise. Any open-source parts keep their own licenses.

5. No guarantees

The site and free tools are provided "as is." Automated scan results are for information only and don't guarantee legal compliance with any accessibility law or standard.

6. Limits

As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for any indirect or knock-on damages from using the site or free tools.

7. Changes

I may update these terms now and then. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updates.
