One person, a lot of curiosity.
VV Labs is the studio of Victor Velev — a place for building the kinds of digital things I wish existed.
Hi, I'm Victor. VV Labs started as a home for a few small tools I built to solve my own problems, and it slowly turned into something broader: a studio for whatever idea I'm curious about that week. Some of it is practical, some of it is playful, and it doesn't all fit neatly into one box — and that's on purpose.
So far that's meant everything from a fast invoice generator and a website accessibility scanner, to an app focused on safety and independent living, a guide for starting a company in Bulgaria, and even a satirical little game. I'm not a big agency and I won't pretend to be one. I lean on modern tools and AI to build more than one person normally could — and I try to be honest about what each project can and can't do.
For now, the tools I make are free to use. That may change one day if something grows into a paid product, but the goal is simple: build useful, curious things, and make them easy for anyone to try.
A few principles behind every project.
Not a poster on the wall — the way I actually try to make design and build decisions.
Simplicity
The simplest system that works is the one I ship.
Trust
I say what a system does and don't overstate what it doesn't.
Innovation
I adopt new tools when they earn it, not because they're new.
Performance
Speed is a feature I measure, not a claim I make.
Clean engineering
Code the next person can read without asking me first.
Curiosity
I build across different areas because I like learning new things.
How I work
A one-person studio — every project gets my full attention.
I build in different areas, from serious tools to playful ideas.
I use what I build, and keep it free to try for now.
Have an idea, or just want to say hi?
Whether it's a website, a small tool, or a rough idea you want to talk through, I'd be glad to hear about it.
